A spin-out from the Center for Raman Technology, Process Instruments was founded in 1994 to develop Raman spectroscopy instrumentation specifically for industrial process monitoring. We brought together a development team focused on the design of state-of-the-art, affordable, frequency-stabilized, narrow-linewidth diode lasers and efficient, optically fast (f/2.0) spectrographs for use in industrial process control applications. Process Instruments was founded in 1994 by a group with ties to the University. Process Instruments helped initiate and support the Center for Raman Technology and subcontracted some research work back the University. The company currently has 15 full time employees with an average salary of $75,000 and $1.5M in revenue. Process instruments is an employee owned company. |
