The center to commercialize a safe, nontoxic and rapid treatment for Pediculosis (head lice), a multibillion-dollar, increasingly resistant problem afflicting some 25% of children by the time they are teenagers.

The Centers is currently testing a safe, effective, non-chemical treatment for head lice, Pediculus humanus. We have secured funding from Utah Centers of Excellence program and approval from the University of Utah Institutional Review Board to perform our treatment on children six and older, and adults in the Salt Lake Valley.
