Center for VLSI DESIGN
UU, Funded 1990-1992
Technology

The Center was established to explore a new technology called Path Programmable Logic (PPL), an innovative design approach for compact integrated circuits. This technology has been developed in response to an identified market niche for a less expensive, more user-friendly design program. The ability to interface PPL with other commercial software packages makes this design program attractive to smaller engineering firms needing custom integrated circuits.
