A spin-out from the Center for Multidimensional Information, Applied Medical Visualizations (MedVis) was founded in the spring of 2002 with the goal of taking innovative medical domain data visualizations to market. MedVis is comprised of a diverse group of experts from Human Factors, Bioengineering, Computer Science, and Design. This multi-discipline group moves across the spectrum of software solutions from creative design prototypes to user centered software implementations.
