Established in 1989, in conjunction with researchers from IBM, the mission of USI is to establish a High Performance Computing Center to serve as a computational
resource for Utah companies and universities. This partnership among industry and education is a unique resource for solving scientific and engineering problems that
require unusually large memory and visualization requirements.
