IAF Application Process
  1. Contact IAF Staff

  2. Details of deal reviewed with staff- recommendations made
     
  3. Application and FIQ are submitted by the company
     
  4. GOED Board reviews the Application for approval
    Key fiscal impacts that affect Board decision making:
    1) Job creation (jobs that pay higher than prevailing wage)  = payroll taxes
    2) Capital investment in plant and equipment = real & personal property taxes
    3) Purchases from Utah vendors and taxable sales = sales taxes
     
  5. Commitment letter sent to the company for acceptance of offer
     
  6. Company accepts the offer and begins the contract process
     
  7. Contract is signed online within 1 year of the approval date
     
  8. First Annual report is submitted by the company after first year of performance
     
  9. First Annual report is audited by staff
     
  10. First disbursement check is cut for the company
     
  11. Second Annual report is submitted by the company after second year of performance
     
  12. Second Annual report is audited by staff
     
  13. Second disbursement check is cut for the company
