Economic Development Corporation of Utah
EDCUtah is a public/private partnership, working with government and private industry to attract and grow competitive, high value companies in Utah. EDCUtah is a comprehensive source of economic data, key public/private contacts and help to these companies as they consider Utah as a place to do business.

Manufacturing Extension Program
This non-profit organization is extremely active in helping develop value-added processes for many rural manufacturers and has field engineers serving ALL of Utah's rural counties. The MEP is chartered with raising the level of competitiveness, performance, and profitability of Utah’s manufacturers.

The Salt Lake Chamber is a private, non-profit organization that represents businesses statewide. The Chamber is not a government agency, a branch of city hall, or a state or federally supported organization.

UBTA is the premier professional trade organization providing a forum for the exchange of ideas between managers of corporate travel, travel industry suppliers, and regulatory agencies.

Utah First Fridays
Dedicated to support the innovation, entrepreneurial, and small/micro business community.  GENUS Breakfast and SOHO Groups have combined participation and created Utah First Fridays.  Meeting the first Friday of every month, the informal format provides quality networking and informational presentations designed to grow and foster business opportunities.  No membership or dues, all business professionals welcome.

Utah Small Business Development Center
The SBDC works together with other business mentoring groups, such as the Service Corps of Retired Executives, to address a wide range of small business concerns. The SBDC program in Utah is primarily funded through the U.S. Small Business Administration, but also receives state support from the Governor's Office of Economic Development and the various educational institutions around the state where its offices are located.
